The Way Cool Cooking School wants to bring friends and family together in the kitchen by teaching children and adults lifelong cooking skills that can ignite creativity, build self-esteem, and most importantly create memories that will last forever.
Our family classes are the perfect way to spend time together in the kitchen! Our classes are priced for 1 adult and 1 child but additional participants can be added.

Come join us and learn the basics of how to make handmade sushi. The Way Cool Chefs will teach you all the basics from perfecting sushi rice to conquering basic rolling styles. We’ll practice knife skills and roll up 2 different tasty types of rolls; Uramaki and Maki. We will also be making our favorite candy sushi using Krispy treats and gummies. By the end of the class, you’ll be ready to host your very own sushi night for family and friends!

In Pizza with Pizazz, families will learn the art of making homemade pizza dough from scratch, then create their own signature-topped pizzas with a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings. Get ready for a lucky day in the kitchen! In this festive family baking challenge, you and your young chefs will team up to create your very own St. Patrick’s Day–inspired dessert masterpiece. Families will be provided with all the ingredients, frosting, decorations, and tools needed to bake, design, and decorate their sweet creations—think rainbows, pots of gold, shamrocks, and plenty of green!
Chef instructors will be on hand to guide and inspire while you mix, bake, and decorate during this friendly, light-hearted competition. When time is up, families will present their finished treats for judging based on creativity, teamwork, and presentation. The specific challenge will be revealed at the beginning of class.
It’s the perfect way to celebrate the luck of the Irish with laughter, baking, and a little friendly fun!

Join us for a fun and hands-on 2-hour family cooking class all about making pasta from scratch! In this class, families will dive into the art of pasta-making as they learn how to mix, knead, and roll fresh pasta dough. Then, with chef guidance, each family will shape their dough into stuffed pasta favorites like ravioli and tortellini.
Families will get creative with their own cheese fillings, choosing from an assortment of cheeses, herbs, spices, and tasty mix-ins to make their pasta uniquely delicious. To complete the experience, chefs will serve their handmade pasta with warm marinara and creamy Alfredo sauce options to enjoy at the end of class.
Finish the meal with a sweet treat; chef-prepared lemon mousse parfait!
