The Beyond Basic BLT

Makes 2 Sandwiches
4 Slices of thick Sour Dough Bread, toasted
1 Heirloom Tomato Sliced 1/4″ thick
1/2 cup Arugula Lettuce
6 Slices Thick style Bacon Strips (Flavor of choice), Cooked
Smokey Chili butter
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons salted butter
Quick Herb Aioli
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh chopped herbs (whatever is in the fridge/garden)

In a small microwave safe bowl combine butter, pepper, paprika, and chili powder. heat for about 30-40 seconds to melt and stir together, set aside to cool slightly.
In another small bowl combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped herbs. Set aside

To Assemble
Spread chili butter evenly on one side of all four slices of toasted bread.
Dive the Mayonnaise Aioli on 2 of the slices. (this will be the bases of the 2 sandwiches)
Top Aioli with the arugula, then tomato, then bacon.
Finally add the top of the sandwich.
