Chocolate Ice Cream Day

Today is Chocolate Ice Cream Day!
Here is one of our favorite chocolate ice cream recipes, from one of our favorite campers. The recipe is hers and is simply delicious.

Stracciatella Ice Cream

Egg-free Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 Cups Heavy Cream, cold
• 2 Cups Half & half, cold
• ½ Cup Sugar
• ¼ Cup Chocolate Shavings

Directions:

1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl and stir until combined.
2. Place in Ice Cream machine and follow instructions.
3. When Ice Cream is formed in machine, slowly add in chocolate shavings while still churning.
4. Remove and continue to chill in freezer until ready to enjoy
