PM CAMP: SCIENCE IN THE KITCHEN JULY 31-AUG 3 (8 SPOTS LEFT)

Experiment in the kitchen with new recipes, activities, and skills that will expand your understanding of the science behind food. We turn our kitchen into lab as we learn how a little curiosity and science can improve your cooking and baking!  

Day 1: The Science of Taste; We will learn how to idenity different tastes in foods and have fun with a blind food  tasting & cooking game

Day 3: Bubbles and Biology, We will learn about molecular gastronomy and how foods are not always what they appear to be

Day 2: Reactions in Baking, How do you know if cookies will  be puffy, crispy, or chewy? We learn how to find out and why baking really is a science using baking formulas to create different types of cookies. 

Day 4: Kitchen Lab Team Challenge, We will take what we have learned and apply it in a fun cooking challenge
