SUSHI  WITH DRAGON  FROM KOWALSKIS (hands on)

September 29    6:00 - 8:00 PM    $45/person

Kowalski’s popular Sushi Chef, known as Dragon, makes nice over rice in Eden Prairie. He will teach us the art of Sushi with favorites such as Tuna, Tempura, California, and, yes ... even Dragon Rolls.  

 

COOKING FOR YOUR INNER ATHELETE (hands on) 

This class will be taught by our WAY-COOL Chef/Marathon coach/Marathon runner Marlee Meshbesher.  Learn new ways to incorporate the POWER FOODS into your diet. This flavorful selection of dishes featuring super foods that will improve your diet, fight disease, help maintain your weight and contribute to a longer, healthier life. And it all tastes great! Expand your culinary repertoire as you learn to incorporate super foods into your daily meals. 6:00 - 8:00 PM    $45/person

APPETIZER WORKSHOP (hands on)

Entertaining is always a time-consuming challenge, so join us to learn how to make a savory selection of appetizers that you can make ahead of time and pop in the freezer, ready to thaw and bake quickly whenever company arrives. Work together with fellow students to easily create a variety of delectable “party bites” for every holiday occasion.      6:00 - 8:00 PM     $45/person

THE CUTTING EDGE WORKSHOP (hands on)

Competence as well as confidence in the kitchen begin with knowing the proper way to use a knife. Meal preparation will be faster, easier—and more enjoyable—when you learn to slice, dice, chop, mince, julienne and chiffonade like a professional. Experienced as well as beginning cooks will develop a solid foundation of knife techniques in this hands-on class. Beginners as well as experienced cooks will develop confidence and proficiency in the kitchen. Work with a professional chef as you build a foundation of basic culinary techniques: knife skills, mise en place, sautéing, roasting, grilling, sauces, vinaigrettes, pastry techniques and more. Enjoy the satisfaction of preparing restaurant quality food at home—for a fraction of the price!
